1. Pick your competitions
Choose which tournaments you want to play — the FIFA World Cup 2026, the UEFA Champions League, and more as they are added.
2. Predict the score
For every match, enter the exact final score you expect before kick-off. You can change your prediction any time until the match starts.
3. Earn points
When the final whistle blows, futcup scores your prediction automatically — no spreadsheets, no manual counting.
4. Climb the leaderboard
Track your rank against friends and in your private groups live, matchday by matchday.
The points system in detail
Every prediction is scored against the final result:
- 3 pts — Exact score: You nailed it — both teams' goals are spot on.
- 2 pts — Right margin: Correct winner and the exact goal difference.
- 1 pts — Correct tendency: Right winner (or draw), wrong margin.
- 0 pts — Miss: Wrong winner or tendency.
In knockout rounds, matches can go to extra time and penalties. Your score prediction is graded against the result after 90 minutes (plus extra time), and picking the team that advances earns an extra point.
Example: you predict 2:1 for Germany vs. France. If it ends 2:1, you get 3 points (exact). If it ends 3:2, you get 2 points (win by one goal — right margin). If it ends 1:0, you get 1 point (right tendency). If France win, you get 0.
Groups: your own prediction league
Any user can create a private group and invite others with a simple code. Groups get their own leaderboard. Perfect for the office, the family chat or your football club.
