Terms of Service
1. Scope and provider
These terms govern the use of the futcup mobile app and website, provided by Emre Dirlik (contact: support@futcup.app). By creating an account you accept these terms.
2. The service
futcup is a football prediction game. You predict match results, earn points based on the published scoring rules, and compete with other users on leaderboards and in private groups. futcup is a game of skill and entertainment. No real-money winnings: points, virtual items and any in-app currency have no monetary value, cannot be paid out, exchanged, or transferred, and cannot be redeemed for cash or goods.
3. Account and minimum age
- You must be at least 16 years old to use futcup.
- One account per person; keep your credentials confidential.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app; deletion is permanent.
4. Fair play and acceptable use
- No offensive, misleading or rights-infringing usernames or group names.
- No automation, exploitation of bugs, or manipulation of scoring.
- We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules.
5. Purchases, subscriptions and withdrawal right
futcup may offer optional paid features (e.g. subscriptions or consumable in-app products). Payment is processed exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their terms. Prices including VAT are shown in the store before purchase.
Withdrawal (Widerruf) for digital content: consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. When you complete a purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356 Abs. 5 BGB / Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU). Refund requests are handled through Apple/Google’s standard refund processes.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your App Store / Google Play subscription settings.
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Match data is provided by third parties and may be delayed or corrected. We may modify or discontinue features; material changes to these terms will be announced in the app.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and under mandatory law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable, contract-typical damage. futcup is free entertainment; use is at your own risk.
8. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
